BIOG dairy farm in Bascharage (2020)Since 2015, the fresh milk of the Luxembourgish organic farmers of the BIOG cooperative is transformed in the in-house dairy farm in order to guarantee the high quality of the products. The milk is produced without any pesticides or chemical additives and is thus environmentally friendly. The minimal treatment of the fresh milk is reflected in the special and authentic taste.
BIOG - from the field to the fork (2020)The BIOG cooperative was founded over 30 years ago with the purpose of processing and marketing the products of the organic farmers. It has brought to market different product ranges ever since, among them dairy products that are processed in the in-house dairy farm and commercialised through BIOGROS. Moreover, the wholesaler transforms and markets cereals, as well as fruits and vegetables that are produced by the Luxembourgish organic farmers. Their common slogan, “fair a kooperativ mat de Bio-Baueren”, is an official profession of faith in favour of a close collaboration between farmers and retailers.

Our BIOG icecream (2018)Wherever it says BIOG, it means the best organic quality. The dairy makes no compromises in the selection of ingredients: It goes without saying that milk and cream come from certified Luxembourg organic farming and are processed gently. All types of ice cream are free of colouring agents and contain no artificial ones, nor natural flavours, but only genuine ingredients. The ice cream of Biog dairy is not only particularly creamy, but also natural and "fair".
Our organic yoghurt (2018)Our BIOG yoghurt is made exclusively from organic milk originating from Luxembourg. With its fine consistency and the mildly acidic taste, BIOG natural yoghurt forms a perfect basis for the production of the sweet yoghurt variants; it can be enjoyed pure and is used in many different ways as an ingredient for desserts and dips.

30 years of BIOG, NATURATA & OIKOPOLIS (2019)In 1989, the "Bio-Bauere-Genossenschaft Lëtzebuerg (BIOG)" was founded. Shortly afterwards, the first Naturata Bio Marché opened its doors. The foundation was laid for a fair and socially organised cooperation of all members of the value chain and a joint marketing of regionally produced organic products according to organic and biodynamic guidelines. Over the decades, the former nine founding members have grown to more than thirty who cooperate in solidarity. Organic farmers, beekeepers, fruit and vegetable gardeners - the range of disciplines represented has grown and with it the high quality range of products. All members adhere to the BIOG charter and sell their products directly from the farm, but above all to the BIOG cooperative. They are also member of the association "Bio-Lëtzebuerg - Vereenegung fir Organic farming Lëtzebuerg asbl".
Insights into the BIOG dairy (2018)The OIKOPOLIS group focuses on fair prices for producers and high quality food for consumers from controlled organic and biodynamic agriculture. To ensure this for the dairy products, the BIOG dairy was founded in 2015 in Bascharage. It enables the Bio-Bauere-Genossenschaft Lëtzebuerg the autonomous and independent processing of their organic milk and species-appropriate, sustainable dairy farming.
