Shaping the future of organic bakery in Luxembourg together

The expertise of two organic bakeries in Luxembourg will be combined starting 1 January 2024, setting the course for the future - Anne Le Moigne and Jean-François Schafer from the BioScott bakery will take over the Bakhaus bakery of the Oikopolis Group in Munsbach on this date.

Both companies share a passion for quality and traditional craftsmanship and will continue this under the BioScott umbrella. The takeover not only combines the expertise of two renowned organic bakeries, but also strengthens the commitment to quality, sustainability and authentic flavour.

The Bakhaus range has won a firm place in the hearts of customers and will remain so. With the takeover of the Bakhaus workforce by BioScott, our customers will continue to find the healthy and delicious baked goods they are used to. The Munsbach production site will also be retained, and employees from both companies will work there together in future. The BioScott and Bakhaus product ranges will therefore continue to be offered in parallel - with a few adjustments.

Takeover of the product range of the Sander bakery from Germany - first Demeter bread from Luxembourg, exclusively at Naturata bakery counters!

Parallel to the takeover of Bakhaus by BioScott, there will be another change at the Naturata bakery counters. The Sander bakery from Saarland (Germany) will cease production for Luxembourg at the end of the year. Its core range will also be offered by BioScott in future. This is made possible by the recent Demeter certification of Bakhaus. As a result, BioScott/Bakhaus will also be able to offer its customers an extended range of high-quality Demeter-certified organic bakery products in future - and as the only bakery in Luxembourg to do so - exclusively at Naturata!
